The Law Enforcement Officer's Handbook is designed for ready reference to subjects which include arrests, searches and seizures, the stop and frisk process, confessions, the line-up, juvenile offenders, the disposition of prisoners, criminal investigations, and the officer's appearance in court. The handbook was prepared with the aid of a grant from the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration, U.S. Department of Justice. Bill Baxley, Attorney General, and Bernard F. Sykes, Chief of the Division prepared the publication.
